I have fallen in love with the car, it really s an awesome machine, however it is not close to being as fast as i was expecting, it has been road mapped on a T25 Hybrid (which i dont the spec of) at 8psi... my first job is going to be getting remapped to 15psi or buy a T28 chinacharger and then get it mapped.. i know alot of people dont like them china chargers but i know a few people who run them no problem!!

Nice shots! Definitly crank up the boost, I could't imagine running around on 8psi

Nice car.

I'm envious of your extra room on the exhaust side of the engine. Probably could use a heat shield still, for the intake's sake.

Very clean and seemingly well sorted out car....How bout some more details on any other mods?

I bet at 15psi you'll be where you want to be

Congrats

ps--whats the bloody price you'd expect to pay across the pond for a boosted mx-5 ya tallywanker?

haha TonyV!! I paid £4000 for this, but a boosted Mk1 MX5 will start at 2500 and go up to around £5000 although i have seen them more expensive!!

Here is the full spec list of the car:

Megasquirt ECU + new sensors (Air temp)
AEM Wideband Kit + Digital gauge
Air con removed to save weight.
Custom stainless steel exhaust.
Koyo Ali Rad
350cc Supra Injectors

Body
Universal Intercoolers Wide arch kit
Universal Intercoolers Rear Spoiler
Mazda OEM front spoiler
Door / Wing Swage lines smoothed
Clear sidelight modification.
Aerial hole welded and filled.
Brackets / panels / metal removed to save weight.
Fresh respray in Ford RS FOCUS white 2pack for durability.

Running Gear
Sportmax wheels 15 x 8 Zero offset
Lightweight Tuner wheel nuts.
Gaz Coil over suspension
Poly bushed wishbones + ARB
1.8 brakes- Mintex fast road pads

Do you think i will be happy with 15psi on the T25 or would you go for a T28?? Also unfortunetly thats not my garage its the previous owners lol!

Those 305 injectors are why it's at 8psi btw, keep it there until you upgrade to larger units.
