Australian delivered 1995 NA8A

Bought it stock in Sydney, Xmas before last.

Spent a good part of last years weekends preparing it. The interior & boot trim was removed. As was the soft top. The heater, power windows, power mirrors ect were all retained. The passenger seat must also stay under 2F regs. Also, it was always to remain road registered. Below is a complete list of what went into the car in the order it happened. This is taken from a more detailed record of where from and how much, I kept. As you can see, the car is fairly standard really.

- Sparco Sprint race seat
- RPM 2” 4 point ADR approved race harness

Here it is completed in November last year for the logbook photos.

First meeting in November at Phillip Island for the Production Sports 1hr. Managed to win class 2F first time out.

The 2nd race the car did was Eastern Creek 1hr in February. Scored the 2F win once again.

The tall guy is my dad, he's 6'4". I'm only 5'11", so I fit under it by 2" (which is the rule here). He's driving in the last two shots. It was just a practice day, so no big deal.

Is your race seat bolted to the floor? It looks like a sparco speed, is that correct?

It's a Sparco Sprint and it's on 10mm alloy rails bolted to the original bolt holes at the front and to the floor at the rear.

I'm just under 6'3, so when I see people fitting under their rollbars i get excited.
Have a web link for those 10mm rails?

Hey just noticed that your blue car has a built engine outputting 205 hp at the flywheel (175-180whp?) not bad for a bp, mind spelling out a bit of what went into getting that extra 70-80hp? I guess higher lift/duration cams, bored and stroked to 2.0, and spinning to 9k along with some port work and higher compression?

It uses the standard inlet manifold (we have to), cams (builder won't disclose exact profile), 10.5/1 Wisco pistons (10 thou, so 1884cc), redline is 7200rpm with cut at 7500, Haltech E8, 4-2-1 extractors\headers & a 2 1/2" exhaust. The majority of work is in the head. It's had some 40hrs of porting done. Pretty impressive power considering the limitations of the catergory. The latest one he's done has 215hp.
