FWIW, I had to modify/machine my old-style FM BOV to open sooner/have less spring pressure with the current twins. It's open at idle. Otherwise it'd compressor surge just going from 10inHG vac to 15inHg vac cruising.
But your .86 is going to be so laggy it won't matter.

yes, my turbine is too big and compression is too low.
