Help Radiator fans not working?
So on one of the hottest days of the year here (100 degrees) I find out that my radiator fans are not working. I have both the AC fan and the radiator fan wired together and neither of them turned on. Any suggestions on what to check. Is there a fuse somewhere for them? Thanks.

Looking back on some of your other posts, you seem to have a '91. On top of the thermostat housing there is a plug that goes into the temp. sensor. Is the wire broken? If so fix the wire. If not unhook the plug and insert a paper clip into the plug, then touch it to ground, the lift ring makes a good ground, with the engine running. Do the fans come on now? If so replace the temp. sensor. If not time to troubleshoot the relay. I don’t have the book with me so I can’t help you with that right now but the above fixes the problem 90% of the time.

Welcome to the 10% club. I read some place that the fan relay was 15 amps and the fans were 10 amps each. So if you have them wired together you're drawing 20 amps. A little more than the relay is designed for. On the other hand I know of people who have been running the fans together for years with no problems.
Glad I could be of help.
