Grease up the slave cylinder piston.
So I had this weird noise coming from the transmission whenever I bounced my foot on the clutch. Naturally I thought it was the slave. Either the slave itself or the clutch fork that it pushes. So after feeling around the slave, namely spinning the piston with my fingers, I felt it grinding. So I figured that must be a contributing factor, I peeled back the rubber foreskin and packed it full of axle grease. Well it didnt fix the racket, which is the clutch fork(very rarely happens anyway, but im ---- like that), but it did make the clutch action much smoother.
I think everyone should take a look at their slaves and if it feels like its binding, pack it full of grease. It will either improve your clutch action or at the very least it will be another measure of protection to keep water and dirt out of there.

My slave piston squeals like all hell where the pin goes through the fork. I've tried every damn thing..WD40, bearing brease, lithium grease among others. I have yet to get it to go away. I'm thinking about putting a shim on the slave mount to put a touch of angle/pressure on that pin contact point to make it STFU.
