Going from pintle to disc type injectors
So, I went to put my new 1000cc injectors in this weekend and they wouldn't fit. The feed o-rings were way too big and the o-rings on the head side were the wrong kind. Unfortunately, I'm a bit confused on how these are supposed to work. It looks like even if I get the right o-rings, they still wont fit. It was my understanding that pintle and disc types were interchangeable. Does anyone have any experience with this? I put my 550's back in for the time being.

(Please dont turn this into a "you're not going to be able to idle 1000cc injectors" thread. That is a battle for another day.)

Well, after some more research. I am selling these 1000cc injectors. DIYautotune says that they will not fit with the stock rail. However, i know for a fact that there are people that are using these injectors on FC rx7's. I guess maybe there are some small differences in the fuel rail/intake setup that allow us to use the same stock injectors but not the same aftermarket ones?
