Extremely high idle
So I was driving around last night and during a boosted pull I heard a big noise (I can't really describe it, it was VERY odd). I let off, floored it a couple of times and it seemed to drive the same, but it could have been a bit slower. I'm not going to guarentee that since I don't actually know if I was just imagining, being paranoid that I destroyed something.
Anyways, a couple of things to say:
It over heated a couple of days ago. A coolant hose leaked out about 3/4 of the coolant. I caught it at ~240, stopped, fixed it in a parking lot, filled with coolant I had in the trunk and went home. I drove it the next couple of days with no difference in the performance.
I just turned the boost up. I went from 6 to 12psi. It drove just fine for ~60 or 70 miles before this happened, including a lot of boosted pulls.
Anyways, I've checked all the hoses (Mainly concentrated on the idle control valve hose) and everything seems fine at first glance, I'm going to rip apart my intake tract later tonight if I can't find anything.
It's now idling around 2,100rpms. Nothing odd about the idle, it's smooth, no backfires, just high.
Any ideas?

Ok, not ten minutes after I posted this and went out, double checked things and realized my BOV hose had popped off (I use the biggest port, the one the stock PCV valve uses).
This thread is now about my serious problem of popping vac lines. Almost every day, one of them goes. I'm using properly sized lines, from the smallest that will fit on to a snug fit to a semi-loose fit (Hey, it was worth a shot, wasn't it?). How are you gays securing your vac lines? I've even gone so far as to use GLUE.
