i had a bad starter once that did some weird ass shit to the electrical system.

would even cause my car to suddenly cut off while driving...

Will take the advice and get under there soon. Wish I could this weekend, but I'll be out of town.

I did load up the older s/w and f/w, and an old map, but then I realized the calibration of the WB02 was waaaay off (whoops), so I ditched that idea and reloaded all the newer stuff.

I've had to roll-start the car the past two days :(

Once I get this starting shit sorted, I'm taking the car to KO for some assistance.

Starting issue has been fixed with the replacement of the starter. This was done like 10min ago. Let's see what happens when I go for a drive....


For future search references:

1) radio cutting out was an over-voltage issue and was solved with the replacement of the alternator.

2) slow/no start issue was solved by replacing the starter.
