Default Electrical Gremlins and Transmission Grinding

I'm having a few issues on my '97 Miata, i'll start with the transmission first.

When shifting into 2nd gear whether its 1st --> 2nd or 3rd --> 2nd, I get a loud gruesome grinding sound with the clutch pedal pushed in. When I installed the transmission, I replaced whatever comes standard in the kit, Throwout bearing, pilot bearing, clutch, pressure plate. It's quite possible I did something wrong as it was my first time. If I ease into 2nd gear at an extremely low speed/rpm, it's fine. Also, it's hard to get out of reverse without a bit of manhandling it (I have yet to rebuild my shifter, that'll come in the near future. I'm hoping that solves the reverse problem).

Electrical issues, my reverse light is always on whether i'm in any gear, neutral, and reverse. I read that my reverse switch may be plugged in too tightly which is causing that but when I fiddled with it, nothing changed.

My driver side window works whenever it wants. I click the button and sometimes magic happens and it goes up and down (very very slowly, sometimes I have to assist it) and other times I don't hear any kind of movement at all. I have already ordered new bushings and lube from MossMiata to fix the slowness but I don't know how to fix the intermittent working/non working part.

I forgot to mention, I replaced both slave my master cylinder <100 miles ago. I'll happily replace it again if it's defective. Simple to do.
