clutch or transmission?
Alright guys, ive done searching and searching and searching, and it has come to my attension that its possible that my clutch is gone not my transmission... let me know what you think...
When i race and im trying to shift quickly, it sticks, also when im trying to shift into reverse, it will not go, i have to shut the car off, then force it into reverse...
Is this my clutch? I have a heavy duty setup thats probably 15k old mated to a 8lb flywheel, also when i go to start off, i need to rev it to 3500 otherwise it stalls(no its not my driving).

Try adjusting your clutch pedal height. On miata.net there is a thing in the garage section that has pics and a step by step guide. Do that first. Then check your fluid in the transmission AND the fluid in the shifter turrit. Again, there are tutorials in the garage section on miata.net that will guide you. I would also suggest changing the fluid in the trans and turrit, especially since you race it. I would use something like Royal Purple or Redline, or Amsoil, all are high quality full synthetics. I'm only helping you because you said you searched.

I didn't say it's not your transmission. I think you should.....
....and see if any of that resolves the issue. It could very well. I'm gonna say what your describing is not a typical no brainer problem. The best thing to do it to ellininate a few variables, especially the ones that are easy, quick, cheap, and are constituted as maintenance as well. Then, if your still having problems, it will be easier to make a diagnosis given that X Y and Z were performed and had I J and K effects. You could have a bad synchronizer in 3rd, or it could be your fluid is so wore out from years of neglect and racing, or it's low, or both, or it could be the wrong fluid, etc.
