MXV, if you're revalving, hit up eBay.

See if you can score a set of blown ones off eBay and have them revalved to the Race specs. You could then run eBay coilovers with Eibach race springs set to whatever you want.

thats what I would have done knowing what I know now. As it is, I have tein basics and im considering having the fronts re-valved for 600-700lbs springs.

revalve is a whole lot more expensive than a set of new koni's. FCM charges like $750 to revalve a set without the adjustable pistons...

If you're looking for a decent price with a factory warranty, steer clear of ebay. Not a single dealer there is "authorized" and factory warranties will not be honored. I bought my Bilstein HD's from www.eshocks.com

They had fair prices, a bit cheaper than most, and are authorized dealers of everything they sell.

http://www.shox.com/

$537 w/ Free Shipping. Bought my AGXs from them about 3 years ago... They ship kinda slow, but were easy to deal with.

I hate the koni yellows. if I were to budget shop for shocks, I'd find some used tokico illuminas...

the yellows are just not damped right for ride comfort and handling as I found out on my E30.

What do you think of some new KYB AGX from jdmwerx on ebay and Ebay coils with sleeves for a cheap setup?

Buy used ones... then send them with a friend who is competing in the AutoX nationals... revalved for cost...

200 for shocks (cupkit, so springs etc... also)...
60 bucks for revalve...
260 for new Koni SPSS3 shocks... awesome.

I don't have a friend competing in AutoX nationals.
Won't you be my friend?

I'm going for the 4th staright year, but they will only revalve at Nationals for cars competing, so no "bring your buddy's shocks" take all their resources.
