Anyone using Qmax or bell reroute?
My car is already running at 215 when its only 50 degrees outside. I want to get the temps lower.
Anyone using Qmax from gearheadgarage? Is it worth the $300
Anyone using the bell system that only costs $135? what are the differences?
Does the Bell fit a 1.6? They said they never tried to installing it on a 1.6 engine bay.
If I get the Qmax, should I get the one for FM2 or the standard? I have a FM1 intercooler and piping kit.

The Qmax system hasn't come out yet. I already bought it but can't comment on how it will work.
Let's wait for some of the members who've already done the Begi reroute to chime in.
I would, nevertheless suggest that you do a search in old threads and you'll find some really good ideas from other members who've done their own reroute.
BTW, in those past threads you will also find a link to some guy's page on a reroute. That one is pretty well written if you ask me.

I will tell you that ETD Racing/M-Tuned.Com is coming out with a sick Collant Reroute setup for around $200. My car was used for the the prototype and the part/drawings are at the CNC shop waiting to get mass produced.
It will offer all the benefits of the other kits, but will work with an EGR also!
It is very trick! I can't wait to get my car back with one installed.

Here's a link to a page a found very useful: http://users.pandora.be/miata/.
When you open that page, click on "coolant reroute".
BTW, Marc's option sounds interesting. I guess will be able to compare all 3 systems soon

The price sounds really nice too.

I can't offer you the use of my Miata because it's going in the shop tomorrow until next week to have the new Tein suspension Keinayo was kind enough to sell me, along with the new 3" Enthuza exhaust and the suspension bushings kit Chriscar was also kind enough to coordinate but, you never know if anyone in your group may need any assistance . This way you at least have someone to contact.
Just in case you need them; my home phone is: (809) 482-1246 and my cell is: (809) 350-1627.
Let me know and I'll also get you the phone number at my friend's home in Punta Cana.
BTW, where is your group going to be staying? Any of you guys a golfer?
Regards,
Rafa

Just wanted to give you an update that the ETD Re-route is still in process and is at the CNC shop. They just finished this piece for the Honda K Series engine. It is a reroute, but fixes a comon pain and the *** issue that K series honda swap folks have. (Broken housing when purchasing the motor, and really akward coolant hose routing in swap cars.)
This will give you an idea or the quality of their pieces.

Hose!!!
Or Earl's AN fitting? This option will be available on the Miata reroute.
Machine shop has the reroute kit, and we are just waiting for them to spin the first one off so we can do the test fit with EGR on my 2000 Miata.
Enjoy!
