Anyone need a Spec Miata and a Racecar/Street Miata
#5
Yeah born and raised in Portland. ATM in Corvallis cept for my car is on Jacks at my moms place in Portland.
anyway talked with the guy he knows his ****. Has been racing Spec Miata's for years and other race cars too. He is running that beast on a stock ECU with just a tweaked out AFM. He says the bitch just rips at anything past 4500+. Even tho I told him I didnt have the $$$ he said I could come check it out and he'd give me a spin. He has to sell his "toys" but he still has a P-Car. I Envy this guy. Also the motor in both the cars was built by a pretty famous least in Oregon miata engine guy from Hood River. The 8300 RPM one in the street car freaking brand new rods, pistons, cams, cam gears, oil pump, water pump, EVERYTHING.... damn engine must be worth close to 6k. Anyway someone with extra 7k should go buy this and then brag about how their N/A miata smokes the **** outta all those GReddy Miata's n stuff =P

Thats what he was speaking of. Pwning them at PIR. Dunno if you know how PIR is set up but there is a back straight but isnt 100% it has a slight curve to it and the front straight where there is then a chacain (sp) so the fact that your car can turn wins you races at PIR not the VROOM LOOK I CAN DO 180!!!21!

Yes the BMW club or Porche club hold them around once a month during the summer. Gotta pay like 70 bucks + all new fluids (brake, clutch etc...) and you get to drive all day from 6am till 5pm. If your a noob you get a instructor to sit shotgun with you. Ferrari and Viper days are also fun but they are invite only even just to watch. Viper days the dude who owns an Enzo will normally show up and also a Carrera GT and a few 1000HP Vipers.
