Default 245/45/15 will it fit?/

Hankook makes this size in the RS3. Can I fit them on 8" wheel all the way around on an NA? Offset 35mm ??

245/45 would probably be slower than a 225/45. Taller is not better. I want a 245/40.

It MAY be a little tall, if it were constructed. Afaik, when a manufacturer makes a special size, like hoosier does with the 275/35, they end up using largely the same molds for other more popular sizes, 225/45 in this case, and just widening it out. Hence, the aspect ratio coming down on the specials: the sidewall ends up being the same height.

My point, the 245/45 would pretty much be a totally different tire than any of the other 15s. Not going to happen, imo.

oops I misread thread title. I thought he meant 225/45/15. Ya Im sure 245/45/15 would be way too tall. Even if they made that size I dont know if id use it.

Most of us would just be happy with a 245, didn't put much thought into the sidewall, but yes, a 40 would be much better.
