1.6 diy turbo, 29 to 116mph 10secs
i dont know why i posted this... but it seems pretty quick. now, the reason the speeds are odd is because my speedo is off because of my 2000 six speed and my 3.90 final drive. the tires are stock daisy rims on 195/50/r14 tires they're 21.67" tall. so using some basic speed calculators i've figured that i was around 29mph when i started at roughly 4000rpm in 2nd and i stopped counting seconds at 7000rpm of 4th gear which i calculated to be 116mph. you'll see in the video that i went past that point in the video. the car had no top in this video. excuse my "here we go" comment
using the http://members.aol.com/solomiata/Drivetrain.html page i found all my ratios in each gear. i started in 2nd and ended counting in 4th. it seems that my calculations are right, but if they're not, please let me know.

observed vs. actual (21.7" tire, 3.90 rear end, 6-speed)
2nd gear, 7000rpm: 46mph observed vs. 51mph actual
3rd gear, 7000rpm: 62mph observed vs. 70.4mph actual
4th gear, 7000rpm: 86mph vs 92.13mph
5th gear, 6000rpm: 95mph vs. 99.27mph
