)(*&^%$# Dents, Dings, and Dog Crap.
I'm so tired of this CRAP! My door didn't shut all the way so I bumped it with the palm of my hand to click it the rest of the way shut.
ANOTHER ******* DENT!
Acorn falls... Dent. Wind blows, Dent. Rains... LOTS OF DENTS!!!
WTF?
Every time I see my car in the right light, I want to cut down every ******* oak tree in the state of Florida.
Screw you ******* oak *****! ****!
Just another day

the way I see it, there are cars worth thousands more than yours that are out there getting dinged every time you see one on the road. Think...Ferrari, Viper, Corvette, etc. It's what's under the hood that counts. The rest is only to show off for women and your own ego.

I am much happier getting into my car every day when it looks good and is clean then when it was dented up and paint was fading.
Its kinda like personal hygene: some people cut hair, shave, and dress sharp not to impress ladies, but to feel good about themselves. Some walk around looking like bums and smelling like **** wearing stretch pants and hoodies cause they just don't care.
Tell me, which car would you rather drive?
OR
That's my car before/after btw

There, I changed it.
Better?
Back on topic though: I totally understand that its so much easier/simpler to drive a beat up car: so much less headaches, so much less worrying and bs.
But I just never felt like my car was "COMPLETE" when I first boosted it and drove around with faded paint/etc.
Now I worry about stupid crap that may hurt my cars looks but at least I feel like my car is "done".
I'm probably crazy though
PS: OP I feel your pain man

^ but you would lose reliability, your under-hood temps would be way higher, and the turbo with i/c setup weighs a lot more than the FFS 18lbs...
plus it comes with a new fuel rail, intake manifold, throttle body and adapter, etc etc it just sounds like a solid deal for someone who doesn't want to deal with idle problems, laptop tuning, and **** breaking every day.

You truly are dumber than I thought
Go ahead and mention the 5th injector in your argument for FFS too. That will complete your dissertation of stupidity.

Lol - I haven't been on in a few days... Didn't know I would spark it up so.
Yea - to those of you with weathered and dinged cars, I agree there is some comfort in knowing it's already got some battle scars...
Turotufas - That sucks :/ You got the bitter end of the deal, but with luck you'll come out on top. I hope so!
To the SUV Lady... "Saw me or not, I know damn well you heard me!"
For me, I feel like I'm teetering on the edge between a well kept car and a weathered showing it's age oldie.
The paint is pretty nice still, no real body damage, just the dings and the new palm dent I've aquired. Interior is still in good shape.. however with time all of this is wearing faster than I can catch up in my finances, so I'm headed down the path of an under cared for worn out old clunker.
Speaking of things falling apart on my car, I got a ring stuck in my tire over the weekend. I just plugged the hole but I really need a new set of tires lol
I also just started to notice difficulty shifting into 2nd and 4th as well :( I dunno if I'm just getting careless shifting or what, but twice now I've ground it 2nd and once in 4th.
Woe is me :(
Anyway thanks for the support with my venting... I actually felt much better after posting that, believe that or not. All said and done, we're all pretty lucky to have these cars no matter their condition as there is always hope for future restorations.
So long as there is money in that same future as well!
