105-115 to MKTURBO.COM from NYC on FiOS. No response from 73.131.91.13.
TF2 servers are not bandwidth-intensive. From what I've read, 1 to 1.5 Mb/s symmetrical is perfectly adequate for a 32 player host. By comparison, latency is hugely important, and 100-150ms is a no-go.
That being said, starting a new TF2 server and getting it populated on a regular basis isn't easy. After the demise of PF2, a new server (FiG) popped up with the intent of absorbing the former PF2 community. Despite significant marketing (both on the forums and via word of mouth), the server is failing miserably. PF2 used to be full damn near 100% of the time at peak hours. FiG, as I write this, has two players on it. And they're derping.

Put in some playtime tonight on the NoHeroes servers which hi_im_sean recommended.
No Heroes Stats - Team Fortress 2
They're pretty good. Got a whole bunch of servers and they're usually well-loaded. I played on Payload Rotation and Badwater / Goldrush. Lots of skilled players, relatively little BS. Only had one hacker-whiner, and he was silenced promptly. One of the servers got a little stacked at one point, but it was nice to not just rocket immediately to the top of the scoreboard for a change. Good voicechat, good team coordination.
I recommend these servers.

Sooo where is everyone. @Arca_ex and I have been battling the machines 3-4 nights a week. step it up guys.
Would be cool if we could actually get a good skilled team of 6 for MvM. We would like to play the more challenging rounds on advanced level, but there are too many noob idiots flooding the mvm servers, its rare we get anything resembling a decent team.

I still need to find one of my old mics or buy a new one. Im waiting on aaron to yell at me again for not having one. The need increases exponentially with difficulty level in MvM.
