Forza 4 spec races! Wed 3/7 specs on pg. 44 #876

brake in a straight line, come off the brakes before turning, the car reacts the same for everyone. Use the oversteer to correct while corning if you need to.
The only disklike was the gears were not suited for the track in certain places, mainly the back of the track. Other than that the car felt ok. RWD?
I suggest 10 laps at the ring GT500 skyline r34 vs GT500 NSX

Well I can modulate with the controller, just not as well as I could with a pedal. The diff on that car seemed to be set up... not to my liking. Not that any FWD car is to my liking, but oh well. That was actually my first tome racing FWD in the game since the first few races with the **** cars. Still finished 3rd, not too bad. I still want my vintage race. I have two pretty damn good cars to go towards it. Have a mixed field of old race cars. Daytona Coupe, GT40, Ferrari 250, those time period car. My Daytona and GT40 are both tuned pretty damn well. I've spent days tweaking all of the settings, and both are very neutral and easy to drive. Both S class. If anybody wanted to donate some of the other cars, I would volunteer to make good liveries for them.

I wish I had the money for a good wheel setup. Even if I could afford one, I'm about to not have the time, being as I'm getting into over the road trucking. Won't be home much to play.
My Gulf GT40 is up in the MT garage if anyone want to give it a go. I think it would be awesome with a wheel, or more awesome.

Worked fine for me with a controller, but then again my best was a second off yours. I'd love to do the Ring, but is there a way we can activate handy caps? It'd be great if you got 20hp every spot you slipped back. Not saying it'd help me, but you never know.

Handicaps would be nice. Even on such a short track with 10 people, I spent the last 10 laps 3000ft ahead and behind everyone else, just lapping. Got pretty boring once the pack got spread out. The first few laps were fun though, when everyone was within 500ft of each other. We need to do one of the super short tracks, with faster cars so you have to deal with lap traffic, to at least keep it not so boring.

Well I think the first race was sort of a success. Sorry for any of the issues, here's what I think is going to happen in the next events.
Spec upgraded parts, but you tune out the rest. I'll happily put my tune up on my storefront for free if someone doesn't feel like tuning. I don't always have to be the one to choose the parts either.
Maybe a tad less laps, like you guys said once we got 15 laps in the pack spread out. BUT! for me the traffic came in handy, as I started to put down 1:03.9s and 1:04.0s TPM was hitting traffic and I closed the 600ft gap we had to 200ft on the last 2-3 laps.
Make sure everyone has the car ready to go, I expected a delay on the first one, but 45min delay was rough. I'll also try to make sure of the starting times, which should be 8 pm est
I did the tune, tuned it with a controller. I tried to tune out as much understeer as I could. I never had oversteer issues but I do trail-brake hard with the car, while I'm just slightly pressing the throttle(I never really ever come off the throttle 100% unless I'm about to wreck)
I'm also up for some old iron or a "historic" race after this weekend too
Next track is Hockenheimring Short! It's narrow and pretty short though. I'll post up my parts-list tonight, but I'm open to someone else choosing the parts. I believe I managed low 1:11s or high 1:10s in the B-class MR-S(the car we are going to use)

Suggestion from Zac:
Here is what I am thinking for the next races:
A-Class 600 Dodge Viper '99 ACR / Laguna Seca
S-Class 700 Ferrrari F50 / Silverstone Long
C-Class 425 NA Mazda Miata / Maple Valley Short Reverse
A-Class 600 Ford Mustang GT-500 / Infineon Indy Car
S-Class 700 BMW M3 / Nurburgring Grand Prix
B-Class 500 Honda Integra Type-R / Motegi East
R3-Class GT500 Battle Skylines vs. NSX / Suzuka Long
I kind of want to do a 24 minutes of Lemans or something. Any suggestions are welcome, these aren't set in stone!

Something moderately fast (A class or S class) on Iberian Full would be a blast. Iberian is all about smoothness and precision in a really fast car.
Also, an unlimited points/ limited hp race with a really slow car car would be pretty cool (something E or F class). Or open mods at a given point level for a given moderately fast car (Evo 5?).
