I kinda agree, but not only because of this but because of having to use my browser as well...
I just want to double click the icon on my desktop and play. Having to update, the game, origin, and the plugin once a week kills it for me.

People still play 1.6 and even source. Have you tried GO?
The game has gotten back to its origins IMO. With the matchmaking you can easily find competitive matches and really play the game how it was supposed to be played.

I'm having a blast on multiplayer. Definitely the most realistic game I've played. The massive amount of snipers is pretty annoying. With a good headset it can really feel like you are there. I usually play anti sniper

In case anyone was on the edge of buying this... The game is awesome. If you can last a whole game without crashing. And today EA is failing hardcore and everyone is losing their weapons and servers are resetting for no reason lol. Sooooooooooooooooooooo yea maybe wait a bit until all the bugs are fixed.

I've been on a lot. I'm doing very well too. Now that I have most of the engineer upgrades I'm an unstoppable tank killing machine.
It's a lot of fun when it isn't crashing. I can get through 2-3 games and then it'll freeze. The actual game runs very smooth for me, just when it goes bad, it goes very bad.
If you are going to buy it eventually, you may as well just get it now. No point in waiting to buy unless you are hoping the price goes down.
If you find a good server you don't have to deal with the typical team of snipers vs team of snipers.
I only play HC conquest. I like large maps and all veh/weapons/etc...

I like playing on servers with every thing set to normal but with HC damage turned on. Just about every game I have played in the last 10 years feels like every one you shoot at is the terminator.
See it for full price but get $9 store credit on green man gaming. Might pick it up and let i down load. Researching how to block origin first.

I saw jeffman on the other day :-D
I got it and it's a step above BF3. It has it's annoying bugs(sound cutting out and random client crashes) but the game-play is pretty damn fun. The changing weather on a few maps is pretty awesome, they've made improvements to the vehicles, the mini-camera on the deploy screen is HUGE(you can see what you're about to spawn into, so you change deployment locations or squad members), and the squad perks are pretty cool.
I'm running around with an old group of gamer buddies, SJS on BF4... which is suicide jeep squad. We've been using a lot of boats in the same fashion too lol.
I'm flier129 on origin for anyone who wants to add me.
