also, i never use the mobile ui on my phone. first thing i do is drop down the menu and choose "full site". then "new posts" and pick and choose the threads that interest me. the new theme song for this forum should be "i have become... cumbersome".

That "Go to last read" button has changed my life, I never knew it existed! Now I see it on all my forums. I think it should be on the other end though, next to the "Last Page" link.

Can we have an option to turn off any "features" that were added? Cause the site is almost unusable for me on my laptop at home and at work, it's still slow as ****. Turning off infinite scrolling and related threads helped a little. But this sucks. Seriously. It makes it painful to use the site now, and this is pretty much the only forum I use.

The blurry photos only download the complete image once you scroll to them, this is so a huge image thread doesn't download 50MB of images if you aren't looking at them yet.
This should help folks on mobile not eat through data and remove some of the page jumps that would occur when images started to load in the past.
If the images just never load or don't clear up when you scroll to them, that's obviously a problem that we should fix. Please let me know which device you primarily use and I'll see what is happening.

The only downside is that desktops often have a faster connection speed and you'll now see some images come into focus as you're scrolling.
But with a fast connection on desktop, the images should be loaded just as you scroll to them.

Looking at the underlying code in the post you cite above, your images appear to be broken at the source.
For instance, going to http://i935.photobucket.com/albums/a...psgumgawwl.jpg returns an error message from Photobucket.

I assume they're gone forever.
I have lost hundreds of photos this way, both Photobucket and others. Look back through some of my instructional posts from years ago, and tons of the images are missing. I've switched to using the photo hosting on MT for all MT posts.
