Default Timing mark at the T instead of 10 degrees

So I got my stand-alone ECU in the car, and I got to set base timing. The car's idle is where it should be, timing was locked at 10 degrees in the ecu, and the cam angle sensor was all the way retarded, and the timing mark was on the T. I think that the mechanical timing is off whats your thoughts?
