Arrow The Fab9Tuning Side-Mount Turbo Manifold & Downpipe Kits - NOW SHIPPING. EFR+Garrett

Introducing the solution many of you have been waiting for and now don't have to. The all new Fab9Tuning Side-Mount V-Band manifold and downpipe for the 1.8 BP Miata.

Like many of the solutions we offer, we set out to solve problems with quality solutions that don’t break the bank. Whilst cost will not be sky high, don’t be fooled, we’ve sacrificed nothing in the means of quality and functionality.

When paired with Borg Warner EFR technology that continues to prove itself on our small displacement engines you can expect extreme efficiency that will produce a much more linear power delivery than could be expected in the past from similar sized GT or even GTX solutions.

Our Garrett V-Band solutions cover Garrett, ATP and TiAL housings, you'll need to specify upon purchase (we inventory each of these housing options for a proper fit per build) and offer the same clearances found with the EFR package.

Features:
• Full Stainless Construction
• Sch10 Thick Wall 304 Stainless
• 0.500” CNC’d Flange
• Oval to Round Port Transitions
• Fully Back Purged Tig Welded Fabrication
• High Flow Merge Collector

You sir have made an amazing kit! I'm seriously debating changing up setups for one with IWG V-band 7163 awesomeness!

These will be even better if BW ever comes out with the V-band IWG 6758 housings. That's what I really want the most.

How about a homie hookup price for a complete hot package for MT.net members? Manifold, downpipe, wastegate and turbo together.

I see you sell the V-band EFR turbos, are you going to add a "add turbo" drop down menu soon?

It's in the works - we're looking to make it as simple as possible and incorporate some type of discount. The feature should be live today.

I have a couple questions;

Where do you put EGT ports for each runner?
Do you have a dyno of the 6758 .64 and .80 A/R? Trying to keep my spool low without choking the turbo.

Thanks!

Hi Tim,

EGT Port Individual runner location: There is adequate clearance on the bottom side of the manifold for installation of 4 EGT probes.

6758 Dyno plot - We do not, we've now shipped a handful of these manifolds and to my knowledge a 6758 has not seen the rollers.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

First customer to get our kit on the rollers and we couldn't be more satisfied! Jeff did a great job putting this car together and the results are impressive at only 20PSI!:
  • Fab9Tuning EFR Side Mount Manifold
  • Fab9 Stage 1 Intercooler
  • EFR 6258 V-Band
  • Turbosmart Wastegate

Which Garrett turbo is closest in flow to the EFR6258? The GTX2867?

That's about right - The EFR has proven to spool faster in the comparison between the EFR 6258 and the GTX2867R. The GT2871r has also been a common comparison. A quick search will turn up a handful of actual back to back comparisons. Impressive results in the EFR's favor but it's not exactly an apples to apples battle comparing the EFR technology with the older GT turbos.

I'd love to do a GTX comparison myself but I can't even find the time to wrench on my personal car with the ramp up in business this year, we'll be expanding our team here shortly - hopefully this will open us up to some longer term projects.
