Upper VICS Mod for turbo cars.

I've got some dyno time coming in the next month, Pinky, with my new Miata build. I also have a stock, unmodified 99 IM, and would not mind doing back to back pulls, and it will be built for 8500rpm, giving further data on the mod through a larger rev range.
Seriously. PM me if you want to try to get something worked out - I'd like to see this happen.

Here's what I did. I'm not limited by rpm control.

Before and after.
And then eliminated the hump.

...and? back to back pulls?
Not that I'm considering this. I just have been doing some searching about putting an MSM engine into a '99 and happened upon this thread. Seems like an interesting question.

So why doesn't someone come up with a grant fund we can contribute to for this kinda stuff. Submit your proposal, that's based on time of completion, etc. just sayin........

gutted manifolds have already been proven not to do jack ****.
what no one has dynoed yet is using the VICS as a short/long runner rpm controlled manifold so you get the best of both worlds.

I had virtual dyno runs with the manifold gutted. Showed a nasty hole between 5-6.5k rpm but it showed a nice bump just at redline few horses above the vics dyno. That said it does help however not in our stock 7k redline.
Jeff i know we talked about my idea of shortening the main runners and leaving the vics chamber in tact few weeks before the local dyno event. Did you ever mess around with that further or no?
Gotta get the hole on my manifold welded and give it a shot some day.
