Default Typical oil pressures at idle/under braking/cornering??

1.8L MSM, Maruha sump baffle, 10w40 full synthetic engine oil.

Under hard braking from 110km/h to almost a standstill I noted my oil pressure gauge dropped to a low of 22psi. I wasn't paying attention to my engine speed at the time, but I'd say it would've been 3500rpm or below. I didn't have datalogging set up at the time so there is no certain way to verify.

I usually see ~30psi at a 900rpm idle when warm, 50-60psi in the lower half of the tacho, 60-70psi in the higher half of the tacho. I don't see major pressure drops during hard or prolonged cornering. I don't have a reference for oil pressures for BPs.

What oil pressures do you see at idle, under hard braking, and during cornering?

I can't remember exactly what my first stage warning light is set to, either 25 or 30 psi, but it usually flashes at me briefly under extremely hard braking. So I would guess mid to upper 20's. Stock NB1 1.8, Kazespec Engineering oil pan baffle. Used to run 10W-40 Mobil 1, now up to 15W-50 just to try it out and haven't run it enough yet to see if the light still comes on under braking. I don't have any other data collection equipment, so my only way to go back and confirm would be to see if my GoPro picks up the oil pressure warning light haha.

Thanks Quigs, same situation here. This was during a funkhana but my GoPro ran out of battery before I tested my braking, so I have no footage.

I think idle is about 70psi cold, drops to about 60psi hot. This is boundary race pump, NB8A engine with NB8B main bearing support plate but no additional baffling. Penrite race oil 5W60. Oil pressure sensor is in a sandwich plate where the stock oil filter was. I guess should add it's a random lap of wakefield park in Goulburn.
