Turbo Build

Turbo Build
I recently purchased a 1995 Miata with 60,000 miles for $4k. Everything on the car is in perfect working order. I've had the car for about a year now and decided its time for a change. I am looking to build a turbo engine. If anyone can lead me in the right way of where to start. What kind of turbo kit? What should I do to the engine to support the turbo? Anything will help. Looking to get around 200 whp or more if possible.

You will want to do some basic research on this site, ASAP. Those are basics of basics covered in detail throughout the FAQs and other information prominently posted.
And no, that's the electronic-less FM2 kit, but yes, with a megasquirt. The Voodoo kit is a piggyback bandaid that you'd pay extra $$$ for and not use with a MS.

BEGI also supplies "DIY" kits, which are the turbo, manifold, and downpipe. After that all you need is intercooler pipes connecting the compressor to the throttle body, larger injectors, and that new fangled MS thing we keep talking about.
We're talking this kit:

for $350 less.
And then adding a megasquirt to COMPLETELY replace the stock ecu, either a MS3 (the best) built by a member for $600(?) or one like this:

For $800. That's a MSII. The MSI PNP units were around $500 last I checked, although I think they stopped making them when the genII MSPNP came out.
Do A LOT of searching. You seem to learn fairly easily, but we can't do all the work for you, read the stickies in the DIY turbo section, and look at A LOT of build threads, they'll help you a lot.
