Default Squaretop Intake with JDM ECU

I know this has been discussed for the BP5A ECU, but I haven't been able to find much about the VVT capable JDM ECU, which I believe is the BP6D.

I would like to put a squaretop manifold into an NB2; however, I know that the stock ECU will have trouble during warmup without the annoying VTCS. My question is, assuming I can get my hands on one for cheap, could I swap out my ECU with the VVT capable JDM ECU, which is tuned for the squaretop manifold?

If this has already been discussed elsewhere, I apologize for the redundancy.

Is that because it's a dumb question?

If the 6A doesn't have an immobilizer then yes. If it does, then no.

Ok, I guess that was one of the things I was hoping to find out. I've read that the BP5A does not have a mobilizer, and apparently it can be swapped right out without an issue. I guess there's a lot less experience with the BP6D.
