RADIATOR COWL NA
I feel like this new thread could go here since it would help to direct the air into the radiator and not make it escape, correct me if I'm wrong and I'll post it somewhere else (it's my second post so sorry if it's not correct).
RADIATOR COWL DIY!!! https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...AQ?usp=sharing
Hi everybody, here we go with a detailed DIY, this time for a radiator cowl.
Basically, you'll just need to print on A4 sheets the 4 pdf's you'll find in the link (there are 2 folders, they are the same, except in the ''with dimensions'' you'll have some, so you can check you printed in 1:1 scale) than you need to put one sheet above the other (see pic 3 below) and glue the big sheet of paper on a sheet of metal or aluminium (also I put an A2 file in case somebody has such a big printer)
To secure it on the car I used 4 M6 (I'm almost sure) riv nuts (5th pic) and bolts in these 4 positions highlighted in the 4th pic
AAA: I suggest firstly, print it and put it on some cardboard (pic 3) so you can check If it fits properly on your Miata, in fact, if I remember correctly, I had to use a file on the very left curve and where the hood latch meets the front of the radiator. Most importantly is to do the holes yourself, I approximately indicate them with the 4 small circles, but what I did when I did mine was to put a marker under where the cowl would have been and mark them.
Bonus! Since I did other DIY I'll leave the drive link here, you can find the shift **** I have and how to do the coolant relocation tank, soon the wire tucking of the driver's side!!! Stay tuuned
