Default Qmax coolant reroute bleed

I just installed the qmax coolant reroute and the coolant temperature is not rising and the fans do not turn on. I bled the coolant by opening the bleed nipple and attached a hose and wait for the coolant to stop at the hose. I closed the nipple and the temp still does not rise. How would that be?

How long did you let the car run to get it up to temp? It takes a while to build heat on a cold motor while just idling. You'll need to get it hot enough for the thermostat to open. Did you feel the reroute hose post-thermostat to see if it was hot yet?

I let the car idle for 10 mins and drove it around a block (1/4 ish mile) I stopped driving because the thermostat fell back to cold so I think there might be air but I bled it with the heater on.
