I installed the Fluidampr with everything in the car from underneath, having previously built the motor with the BE pump and enjoyed boost with the stock damper.
Other than having to avoid the ARB with the wrench it wasn't too bad. That said, it's not stupidly tight on the nose like the ATI one is supposed to be.

I have not personally played with a Fluidampr, so that may be easier to get on and off. Both the SPM and ATI dampers I have used would be stupid annoyingly hard to do with engine in the car. At least with radiator, sway bars, AC, and IC up front.

I have an old 949 damper. If you have the rental puller it's fine. Cutting the timing gear off... That's something I'd never want to do in the engine bay.
That was ******* awful.
