Unhappy N/A Miata Spark Issue? IDK HELP PLEASE

Hi Everyone,

Brand new to the site. Figured i would join because i see a lot of people getting help solving their car related issues here and generally less drama than other sites I apologize if i posted this in the wrong section.

Long version - scroll down for "straight to the point" version lol
I drive a 1991 Miata SE with 90,xxx original miles. It was running good until I tried to install an Innovative wideband (DB Series Wideband Kit - Blue
Part #: 3795
) and MegaSquirtPNP G2 ECU at the same time. Followed the instructions for everything the way they read, but after installing the required maps/settings after all was done, the car would turn over, but it would have trouble staying on and just die down. It would also drain my battery for some reason and i eventually had to keep using jumpers to another car every time. After trying to adjust the timing and what not in the Megasquirt program, timing belts, new fuel components, i gave up and completely removed ALL wiring and components (like O2 that came with the wideband kit, replaced oem ecu, etc..) and put everything back stock.
At first i had to jump the car but eventually the battery charged up a bit. It would just crank and not fire for a while and eventually after replacing the parts below (most parts suggested by others and some searching but problems is still here obviously) the car now turns on and will idle about 900 but not steady. It feels like its a cammed rotary motor. Like the video below, if i remove spark plug wires # 1 or #3 the car still stays on and runs the same but if i take out #2 or #4 the car shuts off. Checked the spark by simply pulling the wire out slightly and realized 1 and 3 have very little to no spark and 2 and 4 have strong spark. Also after leaving it running for a bit (more that 5-10 min) the car will begin to leak coolant looks like out the cap and the middle parts of radiator. Like i said i'm not sure what it could be just need some advise. I've been researching for months. All parts listed below are NEW.

SHORT VERSION
My Miata is running as if only 2 cylinders are firing. If i remove spark plug wire #1 or #3 the car will continue to run the same, but if i remove #2 or #4 the car immediately dies down. like this guy
Currently has OEM ECU and the below parts are BRAND NEW and just installed.

Parts Replaced
ECU Fuse
Fuel Pump
Fuel Filter
Fuel Pressure Regulator
Fuel Injectors
Fuel Pump Relay
Spark Plugs
Spark Plug Wires
Coil Pack
Ignition Switch
Coolant Temperature Sensor (back of motor)
CAS (Cam Angle Sensor in back of motor)
PCV Valve
Throttle Dampening Valve
MAF Box

ANY advise or suggestions welcome!

Thanks,
Mike

Sounds to me like you may have killed a coil. We recently did the same thing with having the ignition settings wrong.

Something about the coils set to "go High" or "go Low".....Not sure of the details as I had a tuner work through it for me...

Maybe repost this in the Megasquirt section........I know your not now running the MS but It was running the ecu that caused the problem....

Good luck.

Take pic of spark plug wires where we can see what wires are going to which cylinders.

My guess is you have one coil pack firing cylinders 1&3, and the other firing cylinders 2&4. Which is incorrect.

This is not my car (pic from google) but my spark plug wire set up is the same; standing in front of the car order - 3-2-1-4. like you said is incorrect What is the order supposed to be?
