I mean I was helping, you just didn't like the help. I think power/engine mods on a miata is a complete waste unless 1. you are doing forced induction 2. you have a vvt motor 3. you have $20K to spend.
I just can't imagine trying to **** around cash and time trying to fool with larger MAFs to possibly/maybe/potentially pick up 1 single horsepower. it just doesn't make sense, so the only thing I can't assume from someone who is admit in making a slow car just as slow with a lot of money is insane.
You have already stated you intend to swap the motor...so what's the freaking point of wasting time money and effort on the worst idea ever?

2hp? whoah, must be an inflated dyno bro
And last I checked, the more efficient way of learning life lessons is to do your research and learn from others' mistakes. ORR using logic and making an educated guess as to the means vs gains of a given mod.
But some simply cannot grasp that simple concept, and MUST make mistakes on their own to actually learn something. Anyone suggesting otherwise is a hater, who's integrity is null.
It just baffles me why you'd wanna waste money on questionable parts and guinea pig different ideas when your MAIN problem with not doing it right, is the cost.
"ITS OKAY IF I WASTE MONEY POINTLESSLY AS LONG AS ITS IN SMALL AMOUNTS, RATHER THAN SPENDING A LARGE AMOUNT ON A PROVEN METHOD"
Kinda helps understand why so many people are broke or poor
