Default Japanese Market '98 NB1 - Ignition coil / loom pinouts - CoP kit issue

Hey folks

I'm in the UK and have a '98 NB1 Mazda Eunos Roadster RS which was imported from Japan.

I've turbo'd it recently and am upgrading the ignition to a BOFI Racing coil per plug kit which uses Toyota Yaris Cambiare coils and a Hummelink loom.

The pinout on the Hummelink loom doesn't match my car's loom. The pics blow are from the second loom BOFI have sent me, both had the same issue.

On the cylinder 2/3 loom plug, one pin is switched. I'm wondering if the pinouts are different on a JDM car vs UK/US/Euro.

I have raised the issue with BOFI and mailed Hummelink directly, hopefully I'll get a response Monday.

In the meantime, can any of you shed some light on this? NB1 guys, do my loom plugs have the same pinouts as your cars?

Thanks

Sam

Coils are really simple. Power, ground, and signal. Check them with a multimeter with key on. Typically power is black/white, ground is black, signal is brown or brown/yellow. Move the pins around accordingly.

Just move the odd pin to the other slot?

Thanks for the replies so far, turns out the supplied coils were also too short to make good contact with the spark plugs - as such I've returned the kit and will be ordering a GFB R8 coil kit and switching it over to sequential.
