Dropped stuff at the builder. He will clearance the tray for arp studs. He ordered arp headstuds, main bearing studs and acl race crank and rod bearings. Will line hone too. Decided not to knife edge and lighten the crank, just clean it up and polish it.

Lulz, just realized my brainysack ms2 has no vvt control. Do I deal with it until I can get my hands on a rev ms3x enhanced, jury rig a spare output as an on/off based on rpm/map or buy vvtuner until ms3x time and hope to sell it later on.
This is assuming I can get my hands on a VVT connector in the first place.

Ahh crap, I did not know this. I have a 2002 motor getting work done and have ARP studs. I now cannot use the MBSP then without hours of fitting and drilling? Is it really a useless item? Can you explain that further?

I think they're useless. They might help with NVH or something, but not for big power applications. I broke a factory main bolt at ~350whp using an MBSP but similar applications with ARP studs hold up just fine. You can either cut up the MBSP or you can use a 99-00 oil pan and windage tray in its place.

Something else I thought of, will I run into clearance issues with the valves and the 10.5:1 wisecos? Ie, not being able to use the full VVT range? Obvious answer would be to clay it, bit I'd like to know beforehand if I can expect troubles. Most awesome would be if it could be kept non-interference.
I did (finally) order an MS3 from rev, so the VVT part should be covered Someone was also kind enough to hook me up with the oil control valve connector, so I hope that shows up soon too.
Then it's off to start the wiring for the sequential fuel and spark, VVT and whatever else I need.

ST 11:1, block/head decked 0.8mm in total, 305 cams with 10.7mm lift:
4.7mm clearance at TDC with -13 degree advance (that's what the decking gave).
Measuring at many points revealed that I have contact at 24 degrees advance and beyond (10 degree sweep that is nono).
This was measured without the 0.8mm gasket to simulate stretch at about 8krm.
Do you know how much your intake cam lift at 47 degrees?
