Input / assist for injector change

Input / assist for injector change
Looking for some For Dummies input for a basic Mega-Squirt setting adjustment to account for larger injectors.
Note: I'm an old-school V8 hot-rodder previously used to carburetors, cams & distributors - pretty much only messing with mechanical VS software programming... My next stage is to install a TDR Rotrex super-charger and plan on a full-day with a local professional tuner on a dyno once the SC is installed.
I've been doing things in stages to also keep changes isolated in segments VS all at once to help diagnose problems in case needed.
To Date:
- Full aftermarket gauges including AEM AFR Gauge
- Mega-Squirt PNP Gen2 installed; running fine on factory base tune.
- Square-Top (flat-top) intake manifold installed.
- EGR Removed
- Deatschwerks 250 lph fuel pump installed
- Deatschwerks 450 cc injectors (pulled were stock 256 cc's)
As you'd expect no adjustments made to MS-ECU nor needed with all changes prior to the larger injectors.
For the injectors I only made adjustments to (and based upon following video):
- Required fuel / injector flow from default 237 injector flow to 450
- Dead-Time from default 1.300 to 0.9
As mentioned; only looking for a base-tune / 'basic' drivability for now as I'll tale to a professional for a full tune very shortly once SC is installed.
CURRENT SYMPTOMS post larger injector change:
- Have to use go-pedal to maintain idle
- Some surging while driving.
- couple-hundred RPM surging while idling (again, pedal input needed to maintain idle and keep from dying)
- AFR 18-22 during driving (obviously much too lean / very limited around block once)
- Have not checked timing yet nor adjusted idle set-screw.
Any 'For Dummies' input regarding setting adjustments available?
Apologies if too long of a post but VERY much appreciate any assistance.
Screen shots below RE injector card and base settings for ORIGINAL/STOCK injectors and to clarify areas where I adjusted fuel flow & dead-time as mentioned above.
AND / BTW how do I ID dead-time from this card? (I was 'assuming' .9 based upon video...)
Thanks, Steve

Go to this page:
https://deatschwerks.com/pages/chara...4I-aQ3ftxborDi
and scroll down to 22S-00-0450 download the file, click on megasquirt, and you'll get your dead times. It's in MS3 terms, so you'll have to do some math to get MS2 numbers, but dead time looks like it should be 1.0. There's also small pulsewidth numbers, but again you'd need a MS3 for that.

I was going to say 1.0 deadtime is closer to accurate for those but he beat me to it.
A base map is a base map and not a finished tune. Typically it will just get things running roughly so it can be tuned.
