help with burning oil
hello fellow turbo heads,
I am in a great quandry as to how to fix my problem. My daily driver fm94 was driving just fine without any hiccups til imy timing belt broke off some teeth. Stranded , had car towed to friend mech who is well versed with japanese cars but not turbo ones. I let him change all belts , pump. all other fluids (diff, tranny, ps, brake, clutch) replaced since i was at 123k . Side note: timing belt was replaced at 65k.
Back to the point: all was running well after changes and he was driving car to deliver to me when car started blowing massive amounts of smoke. He turned back, assumed it was the turbo, removed it , i sent it to limit eng in az. It is a garrett 2560 , accdg to flying miata. Had it rebuilt, sent back, and reinstalled. Prior to reinstalling turbo, the mech had head shaved, new head gasket, cleaned all pipes coz they were all oil covered all the way into intake and intercooler to manifold to exhaust pipes. After my research, i told him to make sure oil drain line is clear , no curves or kinks and at no point lower than oil tap. That was no problem since the line wasnt replaced and the turbo was without any issues for 11 years. Not even once smoked anyway, turbo still smokes alot, pre catalytic pipes removed, still smokes, pcv replaced, still smokes. Now he says it must be the piston rings..... hmmmm
Maybe oil in the turbo issue? But was newly rebuilt. As a fact, i think i may have jumped too fast to assume it was the turbo needing rebuild coz of zero turbo issues(no whiiny noise,no smoke) . Can a timing belt failure cause a turbo to leak oil? Now that turbo is rebuilt, where else can oil be burning from?
Now we think its the rings but i have a feeling it isnt, and i hope its not because that costs alot of $$$. I need help and advice. Any would help. Ive been on avis rental for 2 weeks now.

I was going to read all that **** but I cannot decifer where a sentence starts or ends due to your lack of capitalization. I recommend you rewrite this post legibly, and we will help you.
