Fresh Build Oil Analysis
Yo
I melted a piston 9/21 and had this BP05 out of my 95' rebuilt. Just using this thread to post my Blackstone Lab oil analysis after 500mi on the fresh build. I plan on doing another analysis after my next oil change at 4k total mi and post it here to see where the engine is going. Feel free to post thoughts, other oil analysis' or to just talk smack about my super charger.

As they sort of alluded to, you’ll really know what’s happening after a few more analysis. I’ve got a thread floating around here about my own results and bearing woes. I’d be worried about that piston though, it’s incredibly difficult to do that with the power output of the supercharger. It’s usually from aggressive timing, poor fueling, or a combo of the two.

I had multiple reputable tuners look at the tune and logs from when it blew and the timing in their opinion looked good. I have a new tune on it right now. I have yet to flow the old i injectors that were on it but I still have them. I switched out everything fuel system wise for this build.🤞
