Flat/square top IM - clean up?
About to fit mine to my boosted 04.
Apart from cosmetics, are there any standard fixes/light modz to improve flow? I have searched and maybe my google-fu is sub-par, but I couldn't find anything. Or perhaps there is nothing to find?
If I have failed to find an existing thread, happy for this to be closed/merged.

I have the Skunk2 TB so widened the intake to match it, eliminated the internal casting "bumps" and improved the flow out of the rear runner.
See Lokiel's flat-top modz and subsequent posts.

Thanks Lokiel, I was planning on port matching the Junk2, I will look deeper into your experience as linked, missed that in my searching. Interestingly I did the porting trick on the racecar, but for reasons unknown neglected this task on the new car .
I have an air driven die grinder, last used to clearance the FUCA strengthening plates. I will get some of those Dremel bits too for the finer work.
