Default Do I need upgraded reatainers/keepers to run a stiffer valve spring

Im building a forged motor for my 95 and I'm upgrading to valve springs while i'm in their to get me some over-rev insurance, specifically i'm running the VS885 volvo springs from midwest miata parts. Do I need upgraded retainers and/or keepers to run these springs, or is oem fine? I don't plan on raising the rpm limit from stock.

You can use the OEM steel stuff as long as it is in good condition or new. Over rev protection is not needed if it is not an interference build.
