Why can't they just leave things ALONE!!!

Is it worth it to go back to a gas-engine synthetic and put in a ZDDP additive?

Part of me always wondered when the "other" oil companies would realize how popular the t6 is becoming and try to do something about it.

I'm a certified degreed oil maker and I make this oil. That other oil isn't good. They are changing it and it will be bad. Thanks Obama. I make good oil and I'm a certified degreed oil maker.

Sorry, I can't hear you over the sound of me pouring T6 into my 94 NA, my scooter, and my Silverado.

The ND gets 0W20 Idemitsu.

Hasn't rotella t6 been reformulated a bunch of times over the last few years?

From what I've read, yes. All the diesel oils have had the good stuff reduced/removed over the past few years due to emissions.

... but that doesn't necessarily mean they're not still better than the gasoline oils, right?

That post is pretty obviously an advertisement for Driven brand oil.

I also see no references at all to Rotella being reformulated. Where'd you get that from?

Rotella has been reformulated multiple times over the past 10 years, no? I've certainly been hearing about it forever.

I'm sure that it has.

Just curious as to what prompted the title of this thread, relative to the contents of the page linked to in the first post.
