Boost is gone! What to do.
Ok so last night I went to the miata meet up in dallas. Car ran great. On the way home I did a 0-60 run full throotle. It acted wierd and then died when i let off the throttle to coast. Started back up and the idle is always a little wierd. Drove the rest of the way home with it not really wanting to idle with no throttle.
I figured it was just beign tempremental.
Well this morning on the way to work it is running slugish. So I punch it to see what the boost is getting up to and wow it will only go to 4psi and it gets there much slower than before to.
My Wideband is reading rich everywhere in the rpm band. I cant hear the wastegate at all between shifts like before.
Any ideas?
I check all the hose's and they are all still secure.

You folks are amazing. I could have sworn it was not a hose. i had looked.
BUT there is was, where the intercooler tube meets the Throttle body tube. A loose hose clamp. The clamp is actualy broken (one of the loops that holds the cylnder nut the bolt pulls on to clamp is snapped.). I was able to reinsert the tube in far enough in the hose to get a good seal for now and the broken clamp is fairly tight.
Thanks you all. You folks are jedi's.
Now where do I find another clamp. Will a regular hose clamp work? Is there a speed shop in the dallas area that will have the heavy duty ones like I have now?
Wow just wow this forum is the best!!!
