Begi intake manifold
#10
We do have one more casting left. It will be the last one ever made. We thought it was sold, but the customer changed his mind. I would only use this manifold if you are running a built motor and boosting more than 14 psi. Otherwise, you might loose power when you install it.
We are working on a new IM design made out of sheet metal. It is being installed (in house) for testing right now. Should have results within a week.
Installing an intake manifold is not like installing an exhaust header. It is more complicated since you have vacuum lines, EGR, throttle cables, etc. to deal with. Essential, it is a pain in the butt. But if you have the right application, it is worth it.

Any new's about a new sheet metal intake manifold or has Corky decided to continue with the one on your website? I'm starting to piece together parts for my extreme hp build-up and for what it cost to port and polish a stock manifold I can just buy a dedicated racing manifold.
Thanks,
Gregg

Well, when I read this:

you understand why it's important to convey your message correctly? But I'm still confused as to why you were asking about porting and polishing a stock manifold when you are already going with a sheet metal IM for various reason is.
but seriou'sly, come acro's's like dumba's's 13 year old when type 'so horrid.
what it cost to port and polish a stock manifold I can just buy a dedicated racing manifold.
What, may I ask, does it cost to port and polish a stock manifold as I can't just buy a dedicated racing manifold?
I just do thing's my own way and do not expect other's to agree with them . A man once told me decades ago "Grasshopper you must follow your own path and it will lead you to eternal bliss."

I'm just bringing up a point; I obviously couldn't understand you. Then you corrected me and explained you're going to do your own thing, which still doesn't quite make sense. I don't think I ever questioned what you were going to do, only you type so poorly that we cannot understand you.
I'm making a point, in jest. Chill out. Either roll with it or roll out.
