Default 1.6 or 1.8 for turbo

getting into cars and learning so bare with me.

i want to buy miata and turbo it, what would be better to turbo 1.6 or 1.8 and why. chances are ill end up buying someone elses miata already turboed to save cost.

Buy a 1.8 and turbo it yourself. Buying someone else's aborted project is the worst decision you can make if you are trying to learn about a car.

Agreed. The 1.8 is heavier and throws of the balance of the car. 1.6 is how god and japanland originally designed the car and how it should be. And a 5.0 is silly. No one in their right mind would do that.
