Default Connector Witch Hunt

Ok heres another miata topic that is significantly lacking. We dont have a list of all the harness connectors present and it takes quite a bit of searching and a good bit of luck to order the right ones. So far I know that the 94-95 ignition sub harness connector is a 6 pin sumitomo DL series. Now though I'm looking for VICS solenoid, VVT actuator, VVT cam position sesor, NB crank sensor, NB TPS, NB IAC harness connectors. And a moon shot, the CAS side connector (would make the NB cam/crank sensors PNP) I've made some progress but I want to tap the knowledge here before committing.

VICS noid Sumitomo HX 2 pin (non-bottom rib) I'm not 100 percent on this one but it seems most likely.
VVT actuator, Drawing a blank on this one. Heres the best picture of it I got And another Linked to avoid clutter.
Cam sensors are made by delphi, I cant find the mating part best images here
Crank is a sumitomo 3P090WP-DL-M
TPS, not sure if this is even different, post from savington on the swap wiring alludes to it. IAC is also being tricky, cant find either.Heres a picture of both Idle Air solenoid
CAS connector is a sumitomo DL series and would be called 4P090WP-DL-M if it existed since the harness side is a 4P090WP-DL-F. I might have to call on that one and get lucky.
01+ COP harness connector = 3P090WP-DL-F

So any help here would be great. I have a gut feeling that Joe already knows all of these connectors. Worst comes to worst I cut the connectors out of a scrap harness then figure out what they are so I can buy new pins and re-pin them.

Yup, and waytech, tyco, and delphi. But delphi's site is less than useful for this kind of thing, so I'm struggling with the delphi connectors the most, and even if I figure out what they are, finding a place to buy them will be the next issue.

I'm looking for a coil pack connector.

Any info on that? Will keep an eye out.

For your 94 or your 99? Far as I can tell there are different coil pack connectors for 90-93, 94-94.5, 95-97, 99-00 (+mazdaspeed), and 01-05 ( not mazdaspeed).

This is a great resource as well. There pictures are pretty helpful. Sealed

It looks like that cam position sensor might be a sumitomo hx series connector. But I could be wrong.

Thats what I thought as well, but it has internal keys and the locking tab is not the correct style. Eastern beaver is my source for all sumitomo connectors.

I was looking for my 99, however the connectors are the same for 94&99 as far as coil pack connectors go. Four pin plug with one pin not used. The 01+ goes to COP.

Thanks for this thread. This will help for so many projects.

Leafy if you do some deep searching around on here you will find some posts from Joe Perez where he has found part numbers for a lot of the connectors. I believe most of those thread will be in the ECU section somewhere.

I havent found anything more. I emailed eastern beaver on the CAS connector, and he said that connector doesnt exist and the connector that plugs into it, its a "direct connect to device" type connector.

I emailed ballenger about the other connectors I can't figure out, with pictures. We'll see what they say.

After a nice m.netter posted pictures of his harness connectors, I noticed that the 01+ cops and the crank sensor plug looked very similar. That poster then plugged the two together at my request and it works. So, 01+ COP harness connector = 3P090WP-DL-F

Huh. I see someone else viewing... What happens when you click it? You should be able to view but not edit it

Unable to connect, fire fox cannot connect to the server at docs.google.com. I'm betting its just my work internet throwing fits. I know it blocks me from google translate.

Sucks. Guess you can check it out when you get home. :-(
Anyone who has anything to add (which is most of you, I know I've seen part numbers floating around) just PM me the email you want to use and I'll grant you access.
