1. Will an Xede from another car work on my Miata?
Generally speaking, no. There are different models of Xedes. They are all unique to their application. An Xede from a WRX or EVO cannot be used on the Miata. The Miata uses 'H' and 'H12' model Xedes ONLY!
If you have an Xede from another application, it can be sent to Chip Torque in Australia for a new internal board. The cost varies from $600 to $800 USD.
The following Miatas use the specified model of Xede:
1994-1997 - 'H' Model
1999-2005 - 'H12M' Model
2004-2005 MSM - 'H12M' Model
2006-2008 - 'H' Model
