I recently got my hands on a 2003 turbo miata.
The tune its currently running is pretty bad and needs to be retuned.
Iooking to make about 275whp and im curranty running a 2560r, upgraded bearings and rings ,manly connecting rods 640cc flow force injectors, upgraded radiator and intercooler, skunk2 intake, kraken 3 inch exhaust, supermiata coolant reroute, and megasquirt ms3pro.
What remote tuners are recommended? Iv seen some tuners charge about $300, and some have quoted over $1k. Just wanted to see who all is out there and who the community recommends.

You running forged pistons and rods too? If it's a stock bottom end, you're gonna be unpleasantly surprised at what'll happen when you boost it to 275whp. 250whp is basically the limit for stock rods and pistons, maybe a touch higher depending on how the torque curve is delivered.
My tuner does remote tuning. Toby @ Advanced Engine Dynamix in Corona, CA. He's basically the Miata guy in our area. 90% of what he does is turbo Miatas. Dude knows his stuff. My first tune through him we went through nearly everything tip to tail and it was $600. $200 an hour. That includes follow up tweaks and advice as well. Not sure if the cost is any different for remote tuning, but I'd hit him up.

Ahh, gotcha haha. I missed the part where you mentioned the rods.
Yeah, the general consensus regarding stock pistons is that they're good up to 250whp safely. Some say they're good for 300whp if not run at full throttle uninterrupted for extended periods of time. What that time period is, I don't know. Seems dangerous to me. Maybe a couple other guys will chime in here.
At any rate, welcome to the forum and good luck with the tune! Like I said, I definitely back Toby @ AED.
