Default NorCal tuner needed

I am in need of finding a megasquirt tuner with itb experience. It has to be dyno tuned as it is not street legal. I’m 2 hours north of Sacramento, sac and the Bay Area are where I’m sure I’ll have to travel to.
I have reached out to blacktrax and Vic Sias and waiting for responses.
Anybody have any other suggestions on who I might try to contact ?

M45 in Auburn. Travis is the man.
I have tuned my own stuff like forever and watching him tune (on software he didn't know) was amaze *****.
Dude is no joke.
I am running ITBs as well.

Thanks, I’ll check them out.
I hoped blacktrax or Sias tuning would have gotten back to me by now.

I haven't heard from Vic for like ten years. I guess not in my circle anymore...
I can't say enough about Travis at M45 though. Good pricing too. Although pricing doesn't really mean **** if you get a good tuner.
I have dealt with so many tuners that for some reason hated ITBs. Travis didn't even blink. Went right at it, head down until he was done.
The best dyno room I have ever seen as well. My first dealing with a Mustang dyno.. Great machine for sustained load stuff.

It’s hard to tell if Vic is still at it or not. Blacktrax I left a voice message and sent an email. Hoped to here something from him. I know it will take time to get a slot from anybody.
I agree cost does not mater. I’ve got a small fortune in this new motor. I just want a good tune on it. It’s a DP Autocross car.

I will give m45 a call and see what they have to say

I've tuned hundreds of miata's both in this NorCal (I'm in Sacramento) area as well as remotely (see signature/instagram/facebook) but not a whole lot of ITB experience. If I can be of help let me know.

PS: never heard of Jason and I know just about all the guys at M45 including Tony the owner and Travis their tuner. So that's interesting. They definitely are good guys though and the shop is reputable.

I am very aware of your experience. On my recommendation you just tuned a friend of mines sons car a couple weeks ago. We traded pm’s last year about tuning. If you are interested and we can find a dyno that would be great.
The tune is nowhere close other than starting and slow revs to 3500. Everything is new and bigger than I was running on the old tune.
I know very little ( and I’m not joking ) about tuning and the biggest hurdle I have experienced with itb’s is getting the 90 kpa switch point correct.

Shawns car?

And since you need a dyno I think there's 3 to choose from: M45 in auburn, FW in Rocklin, and Overkill in Sacramento.

No problem. Troy made an appointment with me to get this thing dialed in on the dyno at Overkill performance.
@nigelt this will be using a set of flowforce 380's I'm going to start going through his tune shortly to prepare for dyno day on the 9th.

It made 163whp
Should make more once we spin it to 8500, but for now only 7500.

Try a run without the air cleaners.

It was great meeting Vlad and letting him work his magic on my car. It has a good tune now and I can have some fun.
Might be able to gain a couple hp by removing the filter but I like the protection of having it.
This was on a dynomite dyno. Results may vary from the dynojet world.
