New ECU and high rpm sync loss
Hello gurus of this forum. Im quite new to the ecu world and have been trying to learn how to street tune from scratch. from installing, setting up and diagnosing the ecu itself. i recently made the change from a speeduino ecu, to a motorsport electronics ecu (me221 gen1) where ive been running into a sync loss issue at high rpm. Attached is a log of said event happening and a composite log of the error happening too. i had to solder in a 5v pickup for both sensors with 84k resistors, not sure if that's relevant or not. both sensors have been replaced within the last couple months, so unless ones faulty im starting to think its either faulty wiring, bad ecu or bad sensor. ive been trouble shooting for days and a bit fed-up so any advice would be awesome.
i have a mk1 mx5 1990, with a mk2.5 1.8 vvt engine swapped in using the stock 1.6 harness that has been modified
oh and the trigger filter is set at high btw, dosent seem to have much of an effect on the issue

Update
After weeks of research and trial and error, I finally solved it... I brought a megasquirt, runs like a dream now solved all my issues. Anyone with similar issues in the future. Never buy a non oem crank or cam sensor and never buy a me221. This fourm has been a great help in my troubleshooting and I wish you all the best
