ME442 - Fuel pump - 1996 Eunos roadster
Hi,
I am reaching the end of a turbo build on my jap import 1.8L 1996 Eunos Roadster using the ME442.
The car will only run with FP connected to GND in the diagnostic box, bypassing the fuel pump relay.
I have tried setting the HB OUT + pin to Fuel pump in MEITE as suggested online. However, this has not resolved the problem.
The fuel pump does not prime when the ignition is switched on.
Any suggestions would be massively appreciated.

I got on the ME and the solution they gave is to wire the FP pin in the diagnostics port to the T2 pin of the ECU connector. They confirmed I can instead wire the FP pin to one of the LS pins on the Aux connector which will be easier as I have a plug I can plug into it.
I am not sure the best way to wire something permanently into the diagnostics port. Maybe into the back of it, I'm guessing there is a good way to do it that cannot come loose while driving?
