Default LC-1: Strange Serial Communication Issues

The LC-1 worked like a champ for many months.
Over the past few months, it would suddenly have random serial dropouts. Just driving down the street and I'd get -.-.- on my XD-16 gauge, which means no serial communication.

Now it doesn't communicate with the gauge at all, ever. I can connect to the LC1 with my laptop (native serial) with LMProgrammer. I can not connect to the LC1 with LogWorks.

I have a good +12V lead on the LC1 (shared with XD). I have awesome grounding to the cyl head. The terminator plug is installed.

Curious if anyone has had a similar experience, and if so, what type of resolution was experienced.

I flashed the firmware. Right now, it's working again.

You might want to call Innovate on this one. Ask for Felipe and let him know I sent you.

The only problems ive ever had with mine were always due to usb to serial cable. Just a thought.

I had already spoken with Felipe and received a RMA #, but thank you so much for the offer Matt.

Native serial laptop.

Problems exist between the XD gauge and LC controller, which has nothing to do with my computer anyway.

Props to the fine folks at Innovate, namely Felipe, who took care of me by sending me a replacement LC-1.
