Default Apexi SAFC II

.I purchased this from a fellow member here and I figure I'd try it out as this car was wired for the Apexi safc and avcr in its previous ownership, so the plugs are there. (It's old technology but with the plugs there and a decent price, why not ?.. Anyways, While I'm waiting to get my MS , I figured what the Hell, I'll play with this. Apparently Apexi uses the same colors on their harnesses..no big deal, except a few colors don't match up. and like most pre owned signal modifiers the plug was cut and if had been there it would be a little easier figuring which plug was what.. that being said it'll have to be hard wired. I did such with both plugs, soldered etc. .. the research so far hasn't helped. I've found the usual connection diagrams and the out of date Apexi manuals, which only help for what the color of the safc unit represent. BUT a few colors in the original harness do not match.. odd, as it's suppose to be a quick disconnect plug.. maybe there's a difference in the safc and the safc II? I haven't found any info supporting that yet. I believe the 2004 msm is a hot-wire sensor type, cab someone confirm? The Apexi manual doesn't go past 97. Other options would be flap, and karmon. with how I had it hooked up everything worked except air flow and the knock sensor depending on which sensor "type" I chose. It's on hot-wire now. I disconnected it before driving it today, and until I figure it out.. it'll stay that way.. anyways The quest continues.. anyone with supportive info please share. Thanks in advance
Jerry
